Continuing in the SteelGuitarMojo daily Picking Exercises, we present yet another highly effective right-hand skill builder with TAB for ... The new video and TAB below outlines another simple yet effective right hand-picking warmup using "block" chords. Don't underestimate this one, you'll be practicing moving your thumb around, while the index and middle fingers pluck two-note mini chords, an essential skills to have and maintain. Practice along with the video if you wish, it's shot in our unique Point Of View style, so whatever you see on the screen is what you see when you look down at your steel guitar. Josh is using the "high" C6 tuning, from lowest to highest: ACEGACEG. However, this exercise may be practiced using any tuning or string combination, and on lap steel and pedal steel guitars from 6 to 10 strings.
