E13 Tuning...and on top of everything else, it can sound an awful lot like the good ole C6 tuning! In our video presentation below, brought to you by the Lil Steel V.1 Songbook, you'll hear and see an eagle's eye view of the E13 tuning. Notice the C6 sound of this Hawaiian-styled playing, yet later in the lesson hear the full Dominant 7th sounds, which are difficult to achieve in the standard C6 for lap steel guitar. You'll also learn the direct relationship between E13 and C6 in this lesson, meaning that if you are familiar with the C6 tuning, you'll be able to more quickly navigate the wonderful E13.
