Hi I'm Josh Cho and this is my site www.SteelGuitarMojo.com.
That's me standing in the center of the picture with my posse, Jorge Mesa on bass and John Chang on acoustic guitar. I grew up on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, and lived their half my life before venturing to NYC to pursue a career in music. I am a full-time professional musician and vocalist, performing primarily on the ukulele and lap steel guitar, both as a soloist and arranger and with my HAWAIIAN DREAMS - Big Island Hawaiian Band in the New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and New England areas. Crosby, Stills & Nash: our Band played Cocktail Hour Mohegan Sun Casino, performed as headline act to 3,000 guests Sirius Satellite Radio - live performance and interview on Aug. 21, 2009, 50th Anniversary of Hawaii Statehood I've been teaching guitar since 1988--over 20 years--and have finely tuned my ability to transfer my knowledge to others. My teaching is backed up by conservatory level music theory, arranging, sight reading and harmony and counterpoint, which I studied at the Aaron Copeland School of Music. I set up this site to share the beauty of thelap steel guitar with the world.
